Sweet Dreams are Made of This

I took my late mother to the old quarter of Lisbon in 2016.  We stayed in a gorgeous hostel where musicians played in the town square, three floors beneath us.  

One afternoon, as Mum had an afternoon nap,  I stood out on the balcony and took a few snaps of the accordianist below.   I was amazing by the angles and lines.  

The next night, I couldn't sleep and went out to the balcony late, to see a couple making love against the cobbled floor.   I didn't take a few snaps and I closed the shutters quickly and quietly.

Sweet dreams are made of these terrific laughs and tales I made with my mum over those two weeks in Europe.
