Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon

The song title is from Neil Diamond's 'Girl' (1967) and from the Pulp Fiction Soundtrack. The lyrics follow, 'Soon, you'll need a man, Come take my hand.' Some women might baulk at these outdated lyrics, however, I think everybody needs a certain somebody, some time.
This image came from a photograph at the National Art Gallery of Victoria's pink pool. It is situated at the entrance of the building. I thought the colours created were amazing and in different lights, I think this painting has the same moods and shades.
My fascination with watercolor pigments and water continues with this painting. I was so thrilled I was able to capture the movement and spray of this litte girl throwing a handful in the air with the joy of flow and life.
